Mushroom Curry – a must try

Mushroom curry is a popular vegetarian dish in India that is both nutritious and delicious. In this article, we will introduce you to an easy-to-follow mushroom curry recipe that you can make at home.

Ingredients:

  • 500g mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander leaves, chopped
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  2. Add the ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies to the pan and sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and sauté until they turn soft and mushy.
  4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and mix well.
  5. Add the coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder to the pan and mix well.
  6. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  7. Cover the pan and let the mushrooms cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Once the mushrooms are cooked, garnish the dish with fresh coriander leaves.

Your delicious mushroom curry is now ready to be served! You can enjoy it with steamed rice or naan bread.
